The holly branches and leaves are chopped and dipped in steam to distill the steam, and the oil and water are separated from the holly oil.
Refining method: vacuum fractionation, collecting the middle distillate without water and acid.
- Add salicylic acid to the reactor , add excessive methanol, add the catalyst sulfuric acid after stirring, and heat to react. After the reaction is completed, wash with water until neutral. Distill again, first steam out methanol and residual water at atmospheric pressure, and then vacuum distillation to collect the distillate.
3.Separate methyl salicylate from natural essential oils by fractional distillation.
