What is Tin Oxide?

Tin Oxide chemical formula SnO, soluble in acid and alkali, slightly soluble in NH4Cl, insoluble in dilute alkali, ammonia and water. It can be reduced to metal by heating in hydrogen. It is oxidized to tin(IV) oxide by heating in air. It reacts with Cl2 to form tin(IV) chloride. Oxidation with nitric acid produces H2SnO3. SnO has reducing properties and can be used as a reducing agent to prepare stannous salt. 3) adding lye to the combined filtrate and washing liquid for reaction, the reaction temperature is 60-95°C, and the pH value at the end of the reaction is controlled at 5-6, so that impurities such as iron and lead are separated from stannous oxide to obtain Crude Tin Oxide;

4) After the crude product of Tin Oxide is dried, washed, dried and sieved, the finished product of tin oxide can be obtained.
