2. Volatile oil
The oil is identified to contain α-guaieene, β-patchoulene, trans-saryophylene, humulene, β-, v-elene Erythene (β-, ν-elemene), Eremophilene (eremophilene), β-farnesene (β-famesene), β-gurjunene (β-gurjunene) and 2,6-di-tert-butyl -4-methylphenol (2,6-ditert-butyl-4-methylphenol), heptadecanol-l (l-heptadecanol). There are also pyrazine aroma compounds and polyacetylene alcohol compounds, including: panaxynol, panaxynediol, panaxynediol and more than ten kinds.
