Applications in the textile industry
①Application in wool spinning industry
10%~20% water-soluble Pva Powder fiber tops are mixed with wool and spun to make fabrics, and then the water-soluble fibers are removed in the dyeing and finishing stage, which can increase the wool count by about 20%, thereby obtaining light weight, Soft, fluffy, drapable and elastic wool fabric.
②Application in cotton spinning industry
After PVA water-soluble fiber and cotton are blended into yarn, knitting or weaving is used to make gray fabric, and Pva Powder water-soluble fiber is removed in the post-processing, which can obtain a thin, soft, cool spinning style, moisture absorption, breathability, and comfortable wearing. Excellent wearability. Compared with traditional textiles that use Xinjiang long-staple cotton and imported Egyptian cotton as raw materials, and can only spin high-count yarns with sophisticated spinning equipment and strict and reasonable process conditions, it greatly reduces production costs and improves product quality. After the towel is made of core-spun yarn with water-soluble fiber as the skin and cotton fiber as the core, the water-soluble fiber is removed by hot water treatment. The untwisted fluff towel produced by this method has the characteristics of fullness, softness, and high water absorption. This kind of towel also has the characteristics of not cutting the velvet but slightly shining. It looks like a velvet towel to the eye and feels like a high-end towel.
③Application of PVA water-soluble filament
Pva Powder water-soluble filament can be dissolved in water at 5~100℃, has ideal water-soluble temperature, high strength, good acid and alkali resistance, and dry heat resistance. The PVA water-soluble filament is woven between two socks to be separated instead of ordinary yarn, and the process of separating the socks by an automatic separator or scissors is eliminated. Water-soluble fibers are used for fabric warp sizing, which has the advantages of uniform sizing, stable chemical structure, good corrosion resistance, and simple and easy process. Use PVA water-soluble filaments as weft yarns to weave, and then dissolve the weft yarns in hot water to make weft-free blankets. Water-soluble nonwovens can be used as the base fabric for embroidery in the garment industry. After processing, the nonwovens are disposed of in hot water to obtain hollow and three-dimensional embroidery.
④Application in military
Surface mines block ports or waterways, water-soluble parachutes for air-dropped secret agents, and protective work clothes for nuclear submarine operators must be made of water-soluble fibers.
Application in paper industry
At present, my country’s paper industry is facing two major difficulties. One is that the quality of such pulp has dropped significantly due to the dwarfing of wheat stalks and the degradation of reeds. However, the quality of waste paper pulp is low, how to ensure the quality of paper products and reduce the cost has become a difficult problem for paper mills. Adding an appropriate amount of Pva Powder water-soluble fiber to the paper can significantly improve the paper strength, damage resistance, folding resistance, tearing degree and surface printing strength. The strengthening mechanism is that the PVA water-soluble fiber has a large number of hydroxyl groups on its macromolecules, which can form a large amount of hydrogen bonding force with the pulp fiber, and can dissolve into a semi-soluble bonded fiber when the paper is dry. The strength of the water-soluble fiber is much greater than that of the pulp fiber. Therefore, It can greatly improve the strength of paper.
