Description:

Oxachlor, chemical name 5-tert-butyl-3-(2,4-dichloro-5-(prop-2-ynyloxy)phenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole -2(3H)-ketone, the Chinese name is Daosta, the English common name is oxadisrgyl, the test code is RP-020630, and the product name is Raft and Topstar. It is a ring developed by the French Chemicalbook Na-Planck in the early 1990s. Imine selective contact herbicides at bud stage, which are protophyllogen oxidase inhibitors, are mainly absorbed by the shoots or seedlings of sensitive weeds such as barnyardgrass before and after the emergence of the weeds. It can control 1-year-old grasses, cyperaceae and broad-leaved weeds and perennial weeds, especially for the four-leaf moss.

Application:

Oxadiargyl is pre-emergence herbicide for use in rice and other food crops.
Herbicide.
It is mainly used as a selective contact herbicide for soil treatment in rice transplanting fields. It works by contact and absorption by the sprouts or seedlings of sensitive weeds such as barnyardgrass before and after the emergence of the weeds. Oxachlor is similar to oxadiazon. After being applied to paddy field water, after sedimentation, it is gradually adsorbed by the surface soil colloids to form a stable sealing film. Contact adsorption and limited conduction, under the light chemicalbook, rupture the cell membrane and chlorophyll decomposition of the contact part, and destroy the meristem of the vigorous growth part, and finally cause the damaged weed bud to wither and die. The seedlings of weeds that have germinated out of the soil but have not yet exposed to the water surface before the application of the pesticide will contact and absorb enough pesticide from the water before the pesticide settles, causing it to quickly die and rot. Oxachlor is less mobile in the soil, so it is not easy to touch the roots of weeds.
